Video Edit Magic: Cropping Sources |
Video Edit Magic even allows you to crop a source. You may simply select the source (s) or a part of a source that you wish to retain and crop the rest of the timeline. You may even crop only the sources in which you have made selections and leave the unselected ones as they were.
This option allows you to select a source or a part of the source and then delete all the unselected content on the timeline. This is very convenient when you have imported a media file into the timeline and want to retain only a section of the audio or video track and remove all the other contents.
This option lets you restrict the cropping action only to those sources in which selections have been made. This is very convenient when you have multiple sources in your timeline and you wish to make a selection in the video and audio channel of one or more sources and crop the unselected portion of those sources only.
For example you have 3 video sources V1, V2 and V3 and 3 audio sources A1, A2 and A3 in your timeline. You wish to make a selection in V2 and A2 and eliminate the unselected parts of V2 and A2 ONLY, without affecting V1, V3, A1 and A3. This is when you should use this option.
